The Loudest Crickets
If there were such a thing as digital crickets that lingered among the HTML tags and JavaScript of long dormant websites, they would surely be found here with their sound so loud it might stir static. It's been awhile to say the least since I posted last. Nearly a full year if I counted that up correctly on my fingers. I've been busy sounds hollow in this age, but it's true.
There is some I can share and some I can't just yet about what I've been busy with, but I am very excited to share it all in the future with you. The last few months have been quite interesting and completely unexpected. I certainly didn't imagine pulling a superman into the pavement and getting a concussion.
I've had a few of them in my life, but this one was a doozy. I wasn't able to really work much for a whole month and it's been over 2 months now and I'm starting to feel a bit like my old self and working as much as I was before the accident. Long story short, always wear a helmet.
I think the biggest update is a change in what I was going to work on. I think previously I expressed wanting to build out my own brand and freelance business further, but since then I've changed directions a bit. Instead of doing things on my own, my husband and I have decided to team up and work together. He and I have been hard at work getting that business off the ground this last year and I'm excited for when I can share more about all that effort.
A project I launched recently with him was for a nonprofit that had their building burn down in April. It was a quick project and I'm really happy with how it turned out in such a short time. I think from start to finish it was 30 days. Check it out at HollySchoolhouse.org.
I wanted to get out a bit of an update since it had been so long. I think I've accomplished my goal here, so I'll close this out by saying, I hope you're all doing well. It's been a difficult couple years for all of us and I'm glad you're all still here (Maybe not all). I hope to put out more content in the coming year here and in other places. I'll have a few announcements coming up so, check back for updates over the coming months.
